ZipOut Toolbar

ZipOut now provides a popup menu on the ZipOut Toolbar for quick access to important ZipOut commands. Simply click ZipOut on the ZipOut Toolbar and the ZipOut command menu will appear. Click the command or press the Hotkey to execute the command.

Note Depending upon the Administrative options selected during ZipOut Enterprise Installation, some commands might not be visible on the ZipOut Toolbar or ZipOut Shortcut menu.

Note Toolbars in Outlook 2002 or later have a different appearance than toolbars in Outlook 2000, but their function is identical.

Tip If you customize the ZipOut Toolbar by moving buttons to another Explorer toolbar, the ZipOut Toolbar will rebuild itself automatically when Outlook starts. If you don't want to see two sets of ZipOut command bar buttons, you can use the Toolbars popup menu on the View menu to hide the ZipOut Toolbar. Use the ZipOut command bar buttons on the destination toolbar instead of the buttons on the ZipOut Toolbar.

In combination with Word as the default e-mail editor and Outlook 2000

If you select Word as your default mail editor in Outlook 2000, the ZipOut command bar buttons (ZipOut On/Off, Combine, and Options) do not appear on the message toolbar but instead are available from the ZipOut toolbar in the Outlook Explorer window. If you change your default mail editor to Word and have HTML or Plain Text as your default mail format, you must restart Outlook in order for the ZipOut toolbar to display the ZipOut command bar buttons.

While ZipOut command bar buttons do not appear on the toolbar for messages where Word is the default editor, they will still appear on Outlook items (such as an Appointment item) where Outlook is always the default editor.

See ZipOut Commands for details about the operation of the message-related buttons on the ZipOut Toolbar with Word as the default e-mail editor.
