Updating ZipOut

• You can click the Check for ZipOut Updates command on the ZipOut Toolbar or the ZipOut Shortcut menu to check your installed version of ZipOut against the latest ZipOut version on the Micro Eye Web Site. If your version needs updating, you can control the update and installation process.
• If you check the Check for updates on startup box on the ZipOut Property Page, ZipOut will silently check for a newer version if more than 30 days have elapsed since you last checked the Micro Eye Web Site.

Note  You must have a working Internet connection in order to use ZipOut Web Updates.

To Manually Check for ZipOut Updates

1. Select Check for ZipOut Updates on the ZipOut Toolbar or the ZipOut Shortcut menu.
2. ZipOut will check your installed version against the latest version on the Micro Eye Web Site. If you do not have the latest version, you will be given the option of downloading the latest version in a Browser window.
3. Close Microsoft Outlook before launching the update installation. To close Outlook, select Exit on the File menu. If an index or compression task is running you should either cancel the task or wait for it to complete before starting the update process.
4. After you complete the update installation and restart Outlook, you will be using the latest version of ZipOut.
