Re-enabling ZipOut

If Outlook starts in Safe Mode ZipOut may become disabled and fail to load. You can re-enable ZipOut by following the steps outlined below. For additional information concerning Outlook Safe Mode, please see the following:

Error Message: "Outlook Failed to Start Correctly Last Time"

Outlook 2003
  1. Select About Microsoft Outlook from the Help menu.
  2. Click the Disabled Items... button on the About Microsoft Outlook dialog box.
  3. Select ZipOut in the list of Disabled Items dialog box shown below.
  4. Click Enable.
  5. Click Close.

Outlook 2007
  1. Select the Disabled Items... button on the Help menu.
  2. Select ZipOut in the list of Disabled Items.
  3. Click Enable.
  4. Click Close.
Outlook 2010
  1. Select the File tab on the Explorer Ribbon.
  2. Click Options in the left-hand navigation pane.
  3. Click Add-Ins in the navigation pane.
  4. Select Disabled Items in the Manage drop-down at the bottom of the page and click Go....
  5. Select ZipOut in the list of Disabled Items.
  6. Click Enable.
  7. Click Close.
