Working with Folders
You work with folders in the Folder Tree of the Script Director Explorer
window. The only folders shown in the folder tree are those available in the Exchange profile for the logged-on user.
Adding additional mailboxes to your profile is not required in order to install
froms or scripts to those mailboxes with the Script Director Installation
Wizard. If you want to drag and drop scripts and forms to another mailbox, then
you should add that mailbox to your profile.
Separate icons in the Folder Tree indicate
-
Infostore nodes shown below. An Infostore is a private information store (Mailbox) containing
subfolders or a public information store (Public Folders).
Script Director will also create an Infostore node for any Personal Folders File
(.pst) in your logged-on profile. There is also an Infostore node named Forms
Registry that represents the EFORMS Registry folder, a hidden system folder that
cannot be accessed directly through the Outlook client. The Forms Registry
folder contains a Personal Forms registry. If you are running in Corporate/Workgroup mode and Organization Forms
libraries have been created by your Exchange administrator, the Forms Registry
will also contain one or more Organization Forms folders.

-
Folders with and without installed scripting or routing agents and Outlook
forms. If you click the open folder icon
on the Script Director toolbar, you will see the contents of the folder selected
in the folder tree displayed in a new Outlook Explorer window.

-
Folders where the current user doesn’t have Owner permission. These folders are greyed
to indicate that the current logged-on user does not have permission in this
folder.
-
Scripting and routing agents in a folder. These items are displayed beneath the
node representing the folder. If you click the scripting or the routing agent, can view and edit the agent code in the
Script Preview Pane. If you double-click the agent, the default editor window will open and the agent code will display in the default editor. To change the default editor, select Options
command on the View menu.
- Custom Outlook forms in a folder. These items are displayed beneath the node
representing the folder. If you double-click the custom form, the form will
open in Outlook in form design mode.
