Office Developer Center  This MSDN site focuses on development issues for Microsoft Office. It contains a subsection of Outlook Technical Articles.

Exchange Web Site  The main Microsoft site regarding Exchange. You can participate in Exchange-related newsgroups via this site through either a browser or your newsreader. These discussion forums are hosted on Exchange Server.

Exchange Developer Center. Another site on MSDN with a wealth of information about developing for Exchange server. Lots of important new articles for Exchange 2000.

Windows Scripting Site delivers documentation, code examples, and news regarding Microsoft scripting languages such as JScript or VBScript. You'll also find important information on the Microsoft Script Debugger, an essential tool for Outlook application developers, on this site.


Other Outlook/Exchange Sites

Outlook and Exchange Solutions Center  Maintained by Exchange guru and MVP Sue Mosher, this is the premiere site for the latest developments regarding Microsoft Exchange and Outlook. It contains a wealth of information regarding third-party add-ins, developer code, FAQ's, and support issues for both Exchange administrators and users. Slipstick Systems was named the winner of the 1998 Pathfinder Award for Microsoft Exchange Community Builder at the Microsoft Exchange Conference in Boston, MA. Keep tuned to this site for late-breaking news about updates and future directions for Exchange and Outlook.

ECMS, Inc. ECMS is one of the leading edge developers for the Microsoft Exchange platform. Although not strictly a resource site, they offer code samples and PowerPoint presentations that are very useful to programmers.

Simpler-Webb, Inc. Simpler-Webb's site is the best place to look if you need help with your Exchange infrastructure. Their FAQ on Exchange is indispensable.

CDOLive focuses specifically on Collaboration Data Objects (CDO) and Exchange Server Scripting and Routing. You'll discover code examples here that are very helpful if you are developing an application using Exchange scripting agents. Also lots of great code examples for CDO programmers. CDOLive also maintains a comprehensive list of third-party sites that serve as resources for Exchange and Outlook developers.

Outlook and Exchange Developers Resource Center is dedicated to providing information and resources to seasoned Outlook developers as well as to those who want to do simple modifications to Outlook.

The Exchange Code Exchange is the home of the new, improved Auto Accept scripting agent and other Outlook and Exchange code samples.

Exchange Application Downloads  Formerly known as the Exchange Application Farm, this site offers sample applications for both Outlook and Outlook Web Access clients. You won't find much in the way of documentation here. However, the examples provide an excellent starting point for customizing your own application.

Outlook Forms Programming Newsgroup Use your newsreader to participate in on-line discussions with your peers in the Outlook development community. Several Microsoft Most Valued Professionals (MVP's) monitor this newsgroup and will attempt to answer your development questions and issues.
